Swipe it Forward Program
Food security on campuses is a growing concern nationwide. Various studies have shown estimates putting students between 33 to 51 percent food insecure. University of North Dakota students are not exempt from food security concerns.
To address campus food insecurity, the University of North Dakota has implemented the Swipe it Forward meal donation program. Students with a current UND meal plan can donate a portion of their unused guest meals or dining dollars to help hungry classmates.
How can I Swipe it Forward?
- Log into your Housing Self Service.
- At the top of the Housing Self-Service page, select "Application and Forms." In the drop down menu select the application Dining Plan – Swipe It Forward
- You will be asked to enter information about the amount of Dining Dollars and/or Guest Meals you would like to donate.
How do I access donated meals?
Students in need, can contact the Community Standards & Care Network Office by phone 701.777.2664 or by email UND.communitystandards@UND.edu to get meal passes for use in UND dining centers.
