REU Student Summer Housing

Are you a UND department sponsoring REU students for the summer session?

Departments who are sponsoring Research Experience for Undergraduates will follow the Current Student Summer Housing information.

Affiliation and Billing

• UND sponsoring department submits affiliate forms to Human Resources so that they are classified as affiliates, which enables services to be provided (ID cards, door access, meals, etc). 
• HR provides affiliate ID#’s to UND sponsoring department.
• UND sponsoring department provides affiliate ID#’s to appropriate departments that are providing services (such as Housing).
• UND Housing meets with sponsoring department to gather information on number of students, timeframe and location along with billing information including expense code, department, fund and project number verified by Grant Accounting.
• UND Housing submits Room & Board charges to Central Finance via journal entry.
• Billing will be split between fiscal years. UND Housing will need a new project number if it changes on July 1.
