This fully online, self-paced course helps students develop the ability to recognize potential legal issues, evaluate when expert legal advice is needed, and make informed decisions as business professionals. The course includes recorded lectures, interactive assignments, and three proctored exams, all aligned to real-world business practice.
Whether you're preparing for a career in accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, or business management, this course will help you understand legal obligations, business rights, and the boundaries of ethical and legal conduct.
Students have up to 9 months to complete this course from the time of enrollment. You may work at your own pace and complete lessons on your own schedule, submitting up to three items per week for grading.
The course content is organized in 3 units consisting of 7 or 8 chapters each. Each lesson includes a recorded lecture based on the chapter, and assessments including quizzes, MindTap exercises, reflective journals, and exams demonstrate your comprehension and application of those materials.
