FIN 150: Introduction to the Fine Arts gives you the opportunity to explore how humans create and experience art in all its forms — from painting, sculpture, and architecture to music, theatre, and dance. In this course, you’ll study both visual arts (painting, printmaking, drawing, photography, and sculpture) and performing arts (music, theatre, and dance), developing a broader understanding of the role of creativity in human culture. There are no exams. This course includes a variety of assignments, including attending fine arts events (music event, theatre, art gallery) in your local community, response papers, quizzes and journals.
