Campus Initiatives
The Office of Faculty Affairs supports several campus wide initiatives that promote the development and wellbeing of faculty, students, and citizens of North Dakota.
UND Connect
Providing UND faculty and students with the opportunity to engage in community-based research, UND Connect provides opportunity for address quality of life issues in the state of North Dakota.
Honorary Degrees
Honorary degrees are awarded at Spring Commencement upon approval by the State Board of Higher Education.
Faculty Success
UND utilizes Faculty Success to report activity for teaching, reasearch, and service. The tool also serves as the administration method for the annual evaluation and page 2 processes for faculty.
Faculty Affairs has partnered with University Analytics & Planning (UAP) on the campus wide implementation and adoption of Faculty Success.
Past Faculty Affairs Initiatives
The University of North Dakota has previously participated in several global initiatives, such as the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative Professional Fellows Program (YSEALI PFP), New Universities in Exile, and Scholars at Risk (SAR).
