Integrated Apps

Microsoft Teams supports a wide range of integrated apps to enhance collaboration and productivity. Apps can appear in various places—such as tabs, chats, or side panels—depending on their function.

See the Add an App help article for more information.

The Microsoft Word app in Teams allows users to create and edit word documents directly from Teams. This makes it easy to share files and collaborate with other team members in one central location.

See the article on Editing Word Documents in Teams for more information.

The Microsoft PowerPoint app in Teams allows users to create and edit PowerPoint slides directly from Teams. This makes it easy to share and collaborate on slides with other team members.

The Microsoft Excel app in Teams allows users to create, share, and work with Excel spreadsheets directly from Teams, making it easier to access and collaborate on large data sets.

Microsoft OneNote in Teams allows users to take digital notes and collaborate with other team members. Notes stay organized within your team, making it easy to track ideas and transcribe meeting minutes all in one place.
