History of UAS Research at UND
UND has recently emerged as a pole of innovation in the field of unmanned aircraft systems. This has been achieved thanks to a significant investment by state and federal governments, the private sector and the UND own resources over the past 12 years in the Grand Forks Great Area, the site of our university.
This ecosystem holds the promise of new unmanned and autonomous research and technology development, workforce development, and business creation, attraction and retention in the region and the state.
