Employee Training Syllabus

Listed below is the required training for all employees at UND Dining Services. All Full Time, Part-time and Student Employees have been assigned a specific Training Plan for the Position or Job Code that they have been hired to perform.

It is your responsibility as an employee to complete all the training while at work that is assigned to you on an annual basis. The online training is delivered to you through a site called SafeColleges which records your specific training in a transcript in your name. This training is important to both you as an employee and to all our guests within our facility. If you have any questions regarding this training please contact the UND Dining Services Administrative Office at 701.777.3823.

All fulltime food service employees are requires to take ServSafe Training. Your job description will determine if you are required to take the ServSafe Managers Course or the Online ServSafe Food Handlers Course. This information is listed in your Job Description.

Dining Services holds in-service general session training for our staff in January, March and June/July sessions for our staff. These are professional development sessions to help you grow and improve as an employee of UND Dining Services.
