UND Pride Welcome
UND Pride Welcome is an annual LGBTQIA2S+ event to welcome new and returning students to the start of the fall semester. It is an opportunity to meet the Pride Center staff, learn about support resources, and get to know the leaders of the LGBTQ+ student organizations on campus. There are lots of giveaways, food, and more at the Pride Welcome.
LGBTQ+ History Month
October is LGBTQ+ History Month. It is annual observance of queer and trans history. During the month we center queer and trans histories and experiences thorugh social events, discussions, educational events and more. Every year since 2017, the Pride Center celebrates Coming Out Day by giving away rainbow frosted cupcakes to the campus community.
Transgender Awareness Month
Transgender Awareness Month is a monthlong celeberation of transgender communities and people in November. The month focuses on educational opportunities, advocacy, and community support.
Pride Month
Although Pride Month is in June, the University of North Dakota celebrates pride during April while most students are still on campus. The Pride Center hosts a vareity of events and activities to celebrate LGBTQIA2S+ students, faculty, and staff. The month also incldues our LavGrad Celebration to honor graduating students and ends the month with Pride Fest, a backyard party for students to celebrate the ending of the academic year.
