Accreditation
UND has been continuously accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) since 1913.
Not only does it demonstrate the quality of the education students receive at UND, but it allows our students to receive federal student aid and ensures academic credits are transferable between UND and other accredited institutions.
The Institutional Actions Council (IAC) continued the accreditation of UND in 2024 with the next Reaffirmation of Accreditation in 2033-34.
