Free Continuing Education
Bring a Continuing Education Session to Your Chapter for Free!
Looking for a convenient continuing education opportunity for your state ANFP chapter meeting? UND offers a free, one-hour recorded continuing education session designed with the needs of working nutrition and foodservice professionals in mind!
Ethical decisions are part of everyday practice in nutrition and foodservice. From navigating challenging workplace situations to collaborating with colleagues and making decisions that support the well-being of those we serve, nutrition professionals benefit from understanding and applying the ethical standards relevant to their roles.
This engaging, practical training explores how members of the nutrition services team can apply professional codes of ethics to real-world situations. Participants will review the codes relevant to their roles, explore a structured ethical decision-making model, and work through realistic scenarios and case studies.
This one-hour recording meets the requirement for an “ethics” session as recognized by the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM).
Share this free resource with your state chapter members at one of your in-person meeting sessions as an opportunity to support professional growth, encourage meaningful discussion, and reinforce ethical decision-making in nutrition and foodservice practice.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the training, participants will:
- Discuss how members of the nutrition services team, including Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs), Nutrition and Dietetics Technicians, Registered (NDTRs), and Certified Dietary Managers, Certified Food Protection Professionals (CDM, CFPPs), apply ethical standards in daily practice.
