Online Degree & Certificate Options
UND has three degree programs available through the self-paced enroll anytime format. This option allows you to enroll anytime and take classes at your own pace while working towards a bachelor's degree.
- Bachelor of Arts with a major in Communication
- Bachelor of Arts with a major in Social Science
- Bachelor of General Studies
UND offers two certificates that may be earned through self-paced enroll anytime courses.
Non-Degree Student Options
If you're not seeking a degree at UND and just want to take a class or two, you may
take self-paced enroll anytime courses as a non-degree-seeking student. As a non-degree-seeking
student, you can complete up to 24 undergraduate credits or up to nine graduate credits
before you must be fully admitted to UND.
Unless you are already a UND student or have been in the past, you will be admitted
as a non-degree student when you register for an enroll anytime course.
Non-degree undergraduate students are able to earn a certificate without being fully admitted to UND.
High School Students
High school students can get an early start on a college degree! As a high school student, you may enroll in the lower-division courses (i.e., 100 and 200 level).
You may be able to simultaneously obtain both upper-level high school course credits and college course credits, if approved by your high school. Contact your school guidance counselor or principal to determine if this is an option for you.
Accredited Online University
The University of North Dakota is fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Credits from universities that are nationally accredited by the HLC, such as self-paced enroll anytime courses from UND, will generally transfer to other accredited institutions.
