How do I secure a communication internship?
You can search for internships through a variety of online resources, or you can create your own opportunity. The possibilities are endless! Here are a few ideas:
Current employer: Ask your supervisor if you can develop an ongoing campaign to promote your organization through traditional and new media platforms.
New Opportunities: Approach a new organization in your preferred career field. Can you assist with their outreach programs (i.e. representing the company at trade shows)? Can you redevelop their website? How can you use your personal strengths to tailor an internship?

How will the course appear on my transcript?
You may enroll at any time and have up to 9 months to complete this online course.
The credits earned will be recorded on your UND transcript based on the date you registered
for the course. It will appear on your transcript in the same way as a course taken
during a regular semester. There is no indication that the course was taken online
or that you completed it at your own pace.
