Why Take UND's Online Abnormal Psychology Course?

Explore the complexities of abnormal psychology while balancing the latest research with a compassionate understanding of those who experience psychological disorders.

This self-paced online course examines some of the most debated questions in the field:

  • What causes psychological disorders?
  • Which treatments are most effective in reducing psychological distress?

Using a scientific clinical approach, you'll study the causes, symptoms, and treatments of psychopathology while exploring four key psychological perspectives—Psychoanalytic, Behavioral, Cognitive, and Biological. Engage with real-world case studies and cutting-edge research to gain both knowledge and empathy in understanding mental health.
