Install YuJa Software Capture
No download is needed to view video content in YuJa. But to record for the first time, you will need to install YuJa Software Capture on your Mac or PC. YuJa Software Capture is the recording software needed to record your screen and access webcam and audio content. This software also allows for quick sharing to your email, Blackboard Ultra course, and/or your UND YuJa content library.
You only need to install the software once, but it’s important to keep it updated to prevent syncing issues. Uninstall older versions, and install the latest version for best performance. Windows users will receive update notifications, but Mac users will need to check for updates manually.

Create a Recording
Users can create recordings either directly in YuJa or from a Blackboard Ultra course. In both cases, the YuJa Software Capture tool is required. With the Capture software, users can access, install, and manage recording settings—such a video, audio, and screen display options. Use the Create Recording quick start button at the top of the screen.
Create a Live Stream
YuJa users can also use the Software Capture tool to host live streams. Live streaming allows users to share content with viewers in real-time, with a variety of enhanced features to support interaction and engagement with participants.
