Child Welfare Supervisor Foundation Training

Administrative Supervision                   

Wednesday, October 15th & 16th, 2025 in Grand Forks, ND

As a child welfare supervisor, you quickly find out that supervising staff is much different than direct practice with families. While you bring sound practice knowledge and effective interpersonal skills, the transition from worker to supervisor can be difficult. This Foundation Training will assist you in making that transition, in addition to identifying your leadership style, how group formation plays a piece in the transition, as well as how to build an effective team.

Dates with times:

  • Wednesday, October 15th, 2025 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • Thursday, October 16th, 2025 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

Lodging:

To reserve a room ask for the block named: “Supervisor Foundation Training” until September 14, 2025. Call them at 701-757-2255 to reserve your room before the deadline.  The block is for three nights, if you do not need all three nights, please make sure you communicate that with the hotel, so that you are not charged for all three nights!
