Cadet Rutgers is from St. Paul, Minnesota, and graduated from St. Thomas Academy in May 2022. He was Captain of the swim team and participated in marching band, cross country and track. He came to the University of North Dakota to pursue aviation and was not only awarded the 3.5 year Army ROTC National Scholarship, but also the Flight Training Program (FTP) Scholarship which pays for his helicopter flight training through commercial instrument ratings. This helped to solidify his decision to attend UND. He woud like to flight instruct through the UND aviation program while his ultimate goals are to fly for the Army through the National Guard and continue his civilian aviation career as an EMS pilot. Outside of school and ROTC, he enjoys the outdoors, reading, working out and spending time with friends. He is scheduled to graduate and commission Aug 2025.
Cadet White is from Williston North Dakota and graduated from Williston High School Spring 2020. During high school, he participated in band as a percussionist, was involved with the Clay Target League, and Robotics class. He chose UND as his school of choice to further his studies of Mechanical Engineering. He enlisted in the NDNG in 2023 which helps pay for his college. His goal is to work within the defense industry as an engineer after college. He is schedule to commission as a Second Lieutenant May 2027.
Cadet Dickerman was born in Fargo, ND, but raised in Jamestown, ND. He was a three-sport athlete while in high shchool playing football, wrestling and track and field. Immediately out of high school, he joined the Army National Guard and graduated Basic Combat Training In Fort Sill Aug 22nd, 2025. He came to UND as a Freshman and will contract under a 4-yr Army ROTC Dedicated Scholarship and pursuing a UAS/helicopter degree. He is currently working towards an FTP contract as well. He decided to join Army ROTC which will keep him physically fit, helps secure him financially along with finding a great group of cadets all wantint the same things helps push him to do his best.
