Pride Center Ambassador
Lead with Pride.
The Pride Center Ambassador program includes undergraduate and graduate students who have a passion for educating and bringing awareness to the experiences of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Through story telling, participating in panel discussions, and outreach, the Ambassadors help create a welcoming and affirming campus. They help promote the Pride Center and bring greater queer and trans visibility to campus.
What it Means to be an Ambassador
Ambassadors can participate in the program as their schedule allows. Membership as an ambassador includes:
- Participating in at least 2 outreach tabling sessions in a semester
- Attending Pride Center events when available
- Maintaining a minimum 2.75 cummulative GPA as role modeling academic success is important
Ambassadors might also work on special projects that cater to their interests such as helping organize events, social media take-overs, particiapting in panel discussions and more.
