UND Volunteers is a Volunteer Network that is here to help! With over 40+ local non-profits and organizations in the Greater Grand Forks Area, you are bound to find a volunteer opportunity that is right for you.
This year, UND's goal is to reach 188,300 service hours across campus. This is only around 1-2 volunteer hours per month per person! Best of all, we provide an easy way for students, faculty, and staff to record their hours. Use the button below to enter your hours.

The Grand Forks Dog Training Club provides the general public with education and training for dogs. We have set our training standards high in accordance with the American Kennel Club for conformation, obedience, rally obedience, and agility. We strive to give the highest quality of training while continually updating our training methods. The club offers educational programs to help breeders and pet owners alike in dog related subjects of interest to everyone. All of our trainers are volunteers!

Journey Home Animal Rescue is a group of animal advocates who recognize the need for a foster based rescue in the area. Safe Kids Grand Forks is a region-wide coalition whose mission is to prevent unintentional injuries and death to children and youth 19 years of age and younger. Safe Kids has built a vast coalition of health care providers, government and community agencies, schools, businesses, and individuals that work together in a collaborative nature to keep the children of our region safe from their number one cause of death - unintentional. Our efforts are multi-faceted and comprehensive in order to maximize the number of children and families we reach with our injury prevention message and to assure that they are effective. We base the development and implementation of programs on the five E's of injury prevention - education, encouragement, engineering, enforcement, and evaluation.

Global Friends Coalition helps with the integration process of refugees coming into America. They welcome refugees into the Grand Forks area while assisting in learning English as well. They have three volunteer programs to help the integration process flow more smoothly. Volunteers can decide which program they would like to help with but the Global Friends Coalition asks that volunteers dedicate one hour a week for six months to help create a friendship, perhaps with the New Americans.

The Ember Coffeehouse is a nonprofit coffee shop located in the heart of downtown Grand Forks. Our mission is to provide greater Grand Forks with a community gathering space that serves excellent coffee, inspires creativity, and fosters authentic relationships. We have a spacious and recently updated coffeehouse with amazing equipment and quality ingredients. There is also a space on the other side of the building where we host a weekly food pantry, open mic nights, and rent it out to members of the community for private use.

Augustana Lutheran Church is an intergenerational faith community with an emphasis on outreach and service to places in Grand Forks, and beyond. We offer Worship on Sunday mornings at 10:00am.
