Exams

In the Medical Simulation Technician course you will be required to complete several quizzes, module tests and a final exam.

Quizzes

A score of 70% is required on the video quizzes to advance to the next lesson and to successfully complete the course. The quizzes may be taken twice. Quiz questions are drawn from a question bank; the second time you take the quiz you may not get the same questions as in the first quiz. Please note that your last, score will be kept, NOT necessarily your highest score. If you have questions about a question on the quizzes or exam, please contact the instructor.

Module Test

A score of 70% is required on the module test to advance to the next module and to successfully complete the course. Students with prior subject knowledge, wishing to test out of a module, have the opportunity to take the module test prior to working through the module assignments.  If the student fails to successfully test out of the module they will be required to complete the module assignments prior to taking the test a second time. The module test can be taken a maximum of two times.

Final Exam

A score of 70% is required on the quizzes, module tests and Final Exam to successfully complete the course. The final exam is not proctored. It is open book, open notes, and open internet access. The reason for this open access, is as a Medical Simulator Technician, you would have access to, to resources if you need to look something up. However, you will only have one hour to complete the Final Exam.

Final Exam Retakes

The exam score must be 70% or better in order to successfully complete this course. If you do not pass the exam with a 70% or better score, you may decide to re-take the Final Exam. The cost for a re-take is $25.00. Each student is allowed one final exam re-take in the course. Please complete the exam re-take form to request a re-take of your Final Exam.

Certificate of Completion

Upon successful completion of your course, you will receive a certificate of completion from the instructor at the completion of your lab. Please keep your certificate in a safe place

If you lose your certificate and desire a duplicate or replacement, there is a $25.00 fee for this service. This certificate will be sent to the mailing address we have on file for you, based upon your registration form or any updated Change of Address forms we may have received during your enrollment. You may update your contact information including your address now – prior to your request for a replacement certificate.

You may also email your name, student order number, and updated contact information to: UND.courses@UND.edu to avoid the need for a duplicate certificate.
