International Student Admissions

With over 1,000 international students from 88 nations, UND offers a variety of cultural, recreational and academic programs.

Located in Grand Forks, N.D., the University of North Dakota has over 225+ fields of study. Our school is the best school on the Northern Plains with world-recognized graduate and online programs.

We offer international students an experience like no other. You'll work with faculty that are experts in the field. You'll gain experience in research and hands-on learning. And, you'll become part of the UND family.

We celebrate each other's culture during our Thursday Night Cultural Series and display our diversity the annual Feast of Nations celebration.

On campus, the UND International Center is here to help. They can questions you might have from academic support to student visas or American culture.

Paying for college

At UND, you'll find one of the best education values in the nation. It's our priority to help all students afford UND through financial aid, including scholarships and loans.

While many scholarships to U.S. schools seem to be only for U.S. citizens, there are some for which international and Canadian students are eligible. Contact the Financial Aid Office and search the Scholarship Central.

For Undergraduate Students:

International students should also check with their departments for additional academic scholarships.
