We're not some for-profit university, however. We've been offering distance learning since 1911 to students corresponding by mail. Today nearly 7,000 students are enrolled in UND's off-campus and online classes.

Location is no longer an important issue. You can take classes at any time from anywhere in the world. Whether you have a full-time job or a family to take care of, an online education offers you the flexibility that you need.
You'll use web-based tools to access course materials, submit assignments, take tests and communicate through message boards. If you miss a class, some courses also have recorded classroom lectures and discussions that you can access.
