Microlearning Opportunities on Quality Assurance

In December of 2023, the Quality Assurance (QA) unit has released a series of microlearning videos.  These short (10-15 minute) videos provide an overview of the Onsite Review Instrument (OSRI), which is the federal standardized instrument used to evaluate safety, permanency, and well-being outcomes in foster care and in-home services cases during QA Case Reviews and Child & Family Services Reviews (CFSRs).  Child Welfare practitioners are encouraged to watch it individually as time permits or as a group, perhaps during staff meetings.  The series was developed to give those delivering services insight into the areas of practice assessed during these reviews, and some of the specific questions reviewers must consider when completing the instrument.
