- All Star's project is a non-profit organization that strives to transform lives of youth and poor communities using the developmental power of performance. Go to the website above to get involved.
Asian Pacific Education
- Open to all undergraduate students studying abroad in an eligible country.
- Applicants must be studying any "General Study" (art, international business or international study foreign languages for STA Travel Scholarship.
- Deadline: April (Fall), August (Spring), December (Summer)
- The award for Asia Pacific Education varies (e.g., $500 vs. $2000). Supports study in Asia-Pacific countries.
Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellowship
- Open to all undergraduate students.
- Usual application deadline: January.
- The award for Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellowship is 11 month fellowship, starts out in Washington D.C., then fellows have the chance to go anywhere in the U.S.
BILL EMERSON NATIONAL HUNGER FELLOWSHIP
Carnegie Junior Fellows
- Open to graduate students – apply as a senior who has not begun graduate students.
- Applicants field of study should be in social sciences and other – work in areas such as non-proliferation, democracy, trade, Asian affairs.
- Application deadline: January 15.
- The award Carnegie Junior Fellows is one year of work as a research assistant with a senior Carnegie Fellow, paying $33,000 plus benefit
CARNEGIE JUNIOR FELLOWS
The William Jefferson Clinton Scholarship
- Open to students who have completed at least one year of full-time study.
- Applicants can be studying any field, but with interest in study at the American University in Dubai.
- Deadline: March 15 (Fall), October 15 (Spring), February 15 (Summer)
- The award for the William Jefferson Clinton scholarship is tuition for one term plus on-campus housing at the American University in Dubai.
THE WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON SCHOLARSHIP
Critical Language Scholarship for Intensive Summer Institutes
- Open to graduate and undergraduate students.
- Applicants can be studying any field.
- Usual application deadline: November.
- The award for Critical Language Scholarship for Intensive Summer Institutes is travel, study, and all program expenses for summer institute language study in countries where “target languages” are spoken.
CRITICAL LANGUAGE SCHOLARSHIP FOR INTENSIVE SUMMER INSTITUTES
DAAD German Academic Exchange Service
- Open to undergraduate students (sophomore or juniors) or graduate students (seniors who are prospective graduate students)
- Applicants can be studying any field, but with clear research plan to be conducted in Germany.
- Usual application deadline: January.
- The award for German Academic Exchange Service is 4-10 months of undergraduate study or research in Germany; one year of graduate study in Germany, plus travel costs and health insurance (international).
DAAD gERMAN ACADEMIC EXCHANGE SERVICE
Gilman International Scholarship Program
- Open to undergraduate students with financial need who will be studying abroad during the academic year.
- Applicants can be studying any field.
- Deadline: Depends on timing of study abroad experience.
- The award for Gilman International Scholarship Program is up to $5,000 for study abroad (must be a minimum of four weeks), with amount contingent on amount of Pell grant eligibility (international).
GILMAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Humanity in Action Fellowship
- Open to undergraduates and new graduates (sophomores to recent graduates).
- The award for Humanity in Action Fellowship is a funded travel experience in one of a number of cities, where students focus on intensive, collaborative study of a human rights issue related to minority groups, the Holocaust, and WWII; requires subsequent completion of an action project.
Samual Huntington Public Service Award
- Open to undergrads, seniors.
- Award for Samual Huntington Public Service Award is $15,000 stipends to graduating seniors pursuing one year of public service anywhere in the world.
SAMUAL HUNTINGTON PUBLIC SERVICE AWARD
National Security Education Program - Undergraduate (David L. Boren)
- Open to undergraduates; includes special application track for ROTC students.
- Applicants can be studying any field, but language must be the study abroad focus. Post-graduate requirement to seek employment at an appropriate U.S. governmental agency.
- Usual application deadline: February.
- The award for National Security Education Program is to study abroad in an area of critical U.S. interest; up to $20,000 for an academic year or $8,000 for a summer (international).
NATIONAL SECURITY EDUCATION PROGRAM - UNDERGRADUATE (DAVID L. BOREN)
NOAA Ernest F. Hollings Undergraduate
- Open to all undergraduate students.
- Applicants can be studying any field.
- Usual application deadline: January.
- The award for NOAA Ernest F. Hollings Undergraduate is up to $9,500 per academic year to support their studies, as well as a paid summer internship opportunities at NOAA facilities across the US.
NOAA ERNEST F. HOLLINGS UNDERGRADUATE
Public Policy and International Affairs Program Fellowship Program
- Open to undergraduate juniors committed to completing an MA/MS in public and/or international affairs at one of the PPIA Consortium graduate schools.
- Applicants can be studying any field.
- Usual application deadline: November.
- The award for Public Policy and International Affairs Program Fellowship Program is at least $5,000 toward MA/MS tuition, stipend, eligibility for internships and other professional development opportunities.

Rotary Peace Fellowships
- Open to students pursuing graduate degrees or certificates in designated institutions
- Applicants must study in peace or conflict resolution-releated fields.

- The award for Rotary Peace Fellowships is Full funding for graduate degree or certificate at designated institution.
Harry S. Truman Scholarship
- Open to undergraduate juniors.
- Applicants must study in docial sciences and other – careers in government, non-profits, public service.
- Ususal application deadline: February, with an earlier UND deadline.
- The award for Truman is up to $30,000 in graduate school funding.
Morris K. Udall
- Open to all undergraduate students.
- Applicants can be studying any field.
- Usual application deadline: March.
- The award for Udall is up to $7,000 for academic funding.
Graduate Students
American Scandinavian Foundation Academic Fellowships and Grants
- Open to all graduate students with language competency normally required.
- Applicants may study in any field, but research must demand presence in Scandinavian country.
- Usual application deadline: November.
- The award for American Scandinavian Foundation Academic Fellowships and Grants is
$20,000 in fellowship, up to $4,000 in grants for study in a Scandinavian country (international).
AMERICAN SCANDINAVIAN FOUNDATION ACADEMIC FELLOWSHIPS AND GRANTS
Consortium for Graduate Study in Management
- Open to graduates – apply as a senior; Native American, African American, or Hispanic American, or who can demonstrate a commitment to the consortium’s diversity mission.
- Applicants can be studying any undergraduate discipline, aiming at graduate study in management.
- Usual application deadline: January

K. Patricia Cross Future Leaders Award
- Open to graduate students committed to academic and civic responsibility and leadership.
- Applicants can be studying any field.
- Usual application deadline: September.
- The award for K. Patricia Cross Future Leaders Award is provided travel, lodging, conference registration, and a one-year AAC&U affiliation, including periodicals subscriptions.

- Applicants can be studying any field, but most plan a project that builds cultural understanding. Language competency normally required
- Usual application deadline: October
- The award for Fulbright U.S. Student Program is covered expenses for a year of travel and living expenses for overseas study/research; some awards offered for English language teaching (international).
FULBRIGHT U.S. STUDENT PROGRAM
Gates Cambridge Scholars Program
- Open to graduates – apply as seniors and prospective graduate students.
- Applicants can be in any field of graduate study offered at Cambridge University.
- Usual application deadline: October
- The award for Gates Cambridge Scholars Program is covered study at Cambridge (international); family stipend available.
GATES CAMBRIDGE SCHOLARS PROGRAM
German Chancellor Scholarship
- Open to graduates – “young professionals."
- Applicants should be studying in the following fields: government, social and policy sciences, law, journalism, communications, business, public service, humanities, arts, environmental affairs.
- Usual application deadline: October.
- The award for German Chancellor Scholarship is language classes in U.S. and Germany, study or research project with a monthly stipend, travel, dependent allowance

Golden Key Graduate Scholar Award
- Open to graduates – apply as seniors or recent grads with Golden Key membership.
- Applicants can be studying any field.
- Usual application deadline: January.
- The award for Golden Key Graduate Scholar Award is $10,000 for graduate study at accredited university anywhere in the world (international or domestic).
GOLDEN KEY GRADUATE SCHOLAR AWARD
Intercollegiate Studies Institute
- Open to graduate students (can apply as seniors, aimed at career in college teaching).
- Applicants field of study can be multiple variations, but all aimed at perpetuation of western civilization and traditional “American values” and “principles."
- Usual application deadline: January.
- The award for Intercollegiate Studies Institute is stipends vary from $5,000 through $20,000, depending on applicable program.
INTERCOLLEGIATE STUDIES INSTITUTE
Scoville Peace & Security Fellowship
- Open to graduate students (apply as seniors).
- Applicants field of study must be related to peace, weaponry, the environment, international security, regional conflict, etc.
- Usual application deadline: October and January, depending on semester of project.
- The award for Scoville Peace & Security Fellowship is six to nine months of fellowship appointment, including travel and monthly stipend, in a participating non-profit addressing peace and security issues.
SCOVILLE PEACE & SECURITY FELLOWSHIP
Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans
- Open to graduates – apply as seniors, recent grads, new grad students; must also be green card holder, naturalized citizen, the offspring of parents born abroad, or a DACA recipient
- Applicants may be study any field, but with a commitment to responsible citizenship in the U.S.
- Usual application deadline: November.
- The award for Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans is $25,000 in living expenses plus the cost of tuition up to $20,000
