Writing Consultants

Writing consultants love talking to writers about their projects. They are observant readers who are good at explaining how they react to a draft. They are experienced writers themselves, and they know how much hard work goes into the writing process. They know how to ask questions that help writers see their projects in a new way.

Our staff is made up of experienced undergraduate student writers and graduate students and faculty with experience teaching writing. All consultants participate in ongoing professional development to continually improve their skills and to keep up with current writing center theory and practice.
