Transfer Orientation Programs
As a transfer student, you may have already successfully navigated college elsewhere, but we believe in the value of attending an Orientation Program at the University of North Dakota. The Orientation process gives you the opportunity to meet with other new students and get any last-minute questions answered.
Advising & Registration Process
After you're admitted as a transfer student, your information is passed along to an evaluation team who will make sure you are receiving as many credits as possible toward your intended degree at UND. During this time, you'll receive a text message (or email) from the transfer coordinator with the steps to claim your account and get your UND email so we can connect you with your advisor for registration.
Attend a UND Orientation Day
Summer & Fall 2025
Held July 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 23 and 24 on the UND campus. Students only need to attend one of the scheduled dates. Students who are beginning in the summer semester are welcome to attend these Orientation Days as well.
The July 18 session will be livestreamed and recorded for those who cannot attend in person.
