UND Family Weekend
Welcome to the UND family.
Family Weekend activities are designed to help you feel at home on campus and learn what your UND student's life is like on campus. Join us for a weekend full of social, art and athletic events in Grand Forks.
Family Weekend 2025-26
Family Weekend will take place October 10-12, 2025 and February 13-15, 2026. Schedules will be available soon.
- Attending Family Weekend is free. There is no advance registration required and all family members are welcome to join in the activities. Please note that if an event has a cost associated with it and/or prior registration required, you will find that information within the event details.
- UND campus departments and buildings are open Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Family Weekend attendees are welcome to park on levels 4 and 5 of the parking ramp or in the Gorecki Alumni Association lot at no cost on Friday between 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Complete the scavenger hunt any time between 1 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Sunday to be eligible for prizes. Winners will be announced Sunday at 3 p.m.
Pick up your scavenger hunt information card from the Family Weekend Welcome Center.
Free event, with food and beverages provided free of charge. Up to 200 attendees can attend.

Family Weekend guests ages 18+ are welcome to experience all that the Wellness Center has to offer with your UND student.
Guests must be accompanied by a currently enrolled UND student and bring a government issued photo ID.

Details
The tour will leave from the Sioux Shop.
- Cost is $12/person for ages 18 and older; $6/person for ages 5-17; and free for children under 5yrs old (must be accompanied by an adult).
- Tours will see REA, Olympic Arena, and Betty and will last approximately 1hour.
- Each tour can accommodate 40 people at max.
