ASAP Campaign: Alcohol & Sexual Assault Prevention
Awareness, safety, action and prevention (ASAP).
The ASAP Campaign raises awareness about the connection between substance use and sexual violence on college campuses. Through education and skills training, we empower students to recognize and prevent harmful behaviors, fostering a safer and more supportive campus community.
Purpose
The ASAP Campaign is a collaborative campaign between Wellness & Health Promotion, CVIC at UND, Student Health Services, University Counseling Center, Housing & Residence Life, Equal Opportunity & Title IX, & Student Government to establish awareness & promote prevention of substance use & sexual assault, promoting a safer campus community.
Focus
The ASAP Campaign focuses on three key areas of awareness and prevention: substance use, sexual violence & health, and campus safety. It calls for immediate action to build a safer community by highlighting the connection between substance misuse and sexual violence. While UND is committed to fostering a campus environment that supports student wellbeing, lasting change depends on student involvement. Every student has the power to make a positive impact by learning about these issues, preventing harmful situations, and making proactive choices that strengthen our community.
