The University of North Dakota accommodates all graduates and guests for commencement ceremonies.
Because commencement draws a large audience, the facilities we use are large, and our guests may have to walk long distances to get to their seats.
Wheelchairs are available to assist people to their seats, and space is available in the auditorium/arena for people who use wheelchairs. Guests using wheelchairs in these designated seating areas may have one other person sit with them.
Please contact Ceremonies & University Events to complete a Special Seating Request Form to reserve a wheelchair from the Chester Fritz Auditorium and to reserve seating for special accommodations. Requests should be submitted two weeks prior to commencement.
An American Sign Language interpreter is present at all ceremonies. Please contact Ceremonies & University Events to reserve seating.
To request the program in an alternative format or other accommodations, please contact Ceremonies & University Events at least two weeks prior to the ceremony.
