University Directed Programs

What are University Directed Programs?

University Directed Programs are classes that include a short-term travel component (1-3 weeks) that follow the criteria below:

  1. For-credit: Travel component must be connected to a UND class.
  2. Billed through UND: Program costs are billed to UND Campus Connection.
  3. Led by Program Director and Co-Director: A UND faculty or staff member must serve as program director along with a co-director. Co-directors can be a faculty member, advisor (or other staff), or graduate student.

University directed programs are considered a high impact practice.
