Merrifield Hall Renovation

Merrifield Hall, one of the most iconic buildings on UND's campus, officially reopened in 2025 after two years of renovations. 

The revitalized building thoughtfully preserves the historic Collegiate Gothic architecture and character cherished by generations of students and faculty, while introducing modern upgrades designed to support teaching, learning, and collaboration for decades to come. Located at the heart of UND’s core campus, Merrifield Hall is proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
