Plan Your Classes

Chart your path to graduate in four years by using Degree Map (current students) or Schedule Planner (first semester students).

Current Students - Use Degree Map

Degree Map is a web-based, interactive application that makes it easier for you to:

  1. Chart your education goals
  2. Plan class schedules
  3. Track progress toward completion
  4. Be better informed about degree requirements, time and costs

It works in tandem with the Campus Connection advising report, so you'll see the classes you've taken and plan what's ahead.

Class Instruction Modes

When preparing to register for your classes, please be aware of the different types of instruction modes that UND offers. Not all classes offer all types of instruction modes.

The instructor will be in the classroom and at least some students are expected to be in the classroom in an academic building at the same time. Some students may also participate remotely. These classes will rely on the hybrid/hyflex instruction models.

Instruction is provided in a self-study, self-paced format where the instructor and student mutually establish method(s) of communication.

Students and instructor will conduct class within an academic building/room at the same time at an off campus location (i.e., not in Grand Forks at UND).

Students and instructor will conduct class within an academic building/room at the same time (e.g., Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8 - 8:50 a.m. in Gamble Room 1).

Students can view instructional materials each week at any time they choose. This option does not include a live video lecture component at specific times throughout the week. Students should still be aware of deadlines and follow their Blackboard syllabus accordingly.

Class meets online at particular times (e.g., Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8 - 8:50 a.m.) and student is expected to log into class during those times.
