Course Help Ideas
Talk With Your Instructor
- He/she may have some suggestions on how to get more involved in class.
- If you have been missing class, visit about the reasons for your absences and what options there are, if any, for making up lost points.
- Talk with your instructor about any options for raising your grade.
Ask Questions
Asking questions or seeking clarification of an idea or concept shows that you are paying attention. If it's a struggle to do this during class, speak with the instructor individually before or after class. Once this becomes more comfortable, you may find it easier to speak up in class.
Sit In the Front
Sitting up front and showing you are paying attention is a great way to show quiet involvement.
Email Instructor
Emailing the instructor lets the instructor know you are making an effort to engage with the material.
