Stay apart to stay together for a safe September.
Testing is an important part of the community's total COVID-19 response. Those who test positive are isolated, while those identified as close contacts are quarantined to prevent the virus from spreading.
How Classes are Offered
We developed a flexible Healthy Hawks Restart framework to resume in-person instruction – with options for online learning. Faculty have the option to request to move their course(s) online at any time by following an approval process. Every Monday, we update data showing the number of online vs. face-to-face/hybrid classes.
On or before Oct. 1, UND will make its decision about whether classes will be moved to online-only after Thanksgiving break.
Required COVID-19 Training
All on-campus students, faculty and staff are required to complete COVID-19 training. This training provides a high-level overview of how we can work to support the health and safety of our campus community and prevent the spread of COVID-19. It will take approximately 40-45 minutes to complete, including a 10-question learning assessment.
Use your UND (IDM) username and password to log in. Use Chrome as the browser to complete training.
#COVIDChallengeUND Video Contest
UND students are competing against fellow students in a video competition sponsored by the North Dakota University System. Voting was extended to Sept. 25 at 5 p.m. Vote for UND's video by liking and retweeting the video on Twitter.
