Dr. Mark Christenson
Dr. Mark Christenson began his employment with University of North Dakota Student Health Services in 1997. He received his BS in Physical Therapy at University of North Dakota in 1987. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at UND in 1994 and completed his Family Practice Residency at the Grand Forks Family Practice Residency in 1997. Dr. Christenson has worked in the health care field for over 20 years. He is board certified in Family Medicine and an Aviation Medical Examiner.
Dr. Tim Heinley
Dr. Tim Heinley began his employment with the University of North Dakota Student Health Services in 1993. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at UND in 1988 and completed his Family Practice Residency at Grand Forks Family Practice Residency in 1991. He spent two years with Grand Forks Clinic and Hospital in Family Medicine. Dr. Heinley has worked in the health care field for over 30 years. He is an Aviation Medical Examiner.
Sarah Gustafson, FNP-C
Sarah Gustafson, Family Nurse Practitioner, began her employment with University of North Dakota Student Health Services in 2015. She received her Associate Nursing Degree from Anoka-Ramsey Community College. She received her Masters of Science in family nurse practitioner specialty from the University of North Dakota in 2013. Sarah has worked in the health care field for over 14 years. She is certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the North Dakota Nurse Practitioner Association.
Melissa Hayes, FNP-C
Melissa Hayes, Family Nurse Practitioner, began her employment with University of North Dakota Student Health Services in 2018. She received her BSN in Nursing with a minor in Nutrition from the University of North Dakota. She received her Masters of Science in family nurse practitioner specialty from the University of North Dakota in 2015. Melissa has worked in the health care field for over 25 years. She is certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Bonnie Freeland, FNP-C
Bonnie Freeland, Family Nurse Practitioner, began her employment with University of North Dakota Student Health Services in 1996. She received her BSN from the University of North Dakota. She received her Masters of Science in family nurse practitioner specialty from the University of North Dakota. Bonnie has worked in the health care field for over 23 years. She is certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a member of the North Dakota Nurse Practitioner Association.
Annette Larson, PA-C
Annette Larson, Physician Assistant, began her employment with University of North Dakota Student Health Services in 2012. Annette received her FNP/PA certificate from University of North Dakota in 1979 and a Masters of Science in physician assistant practices from Rosalind University in 2000. She received her BS in Nursing from Minot State University. Annette has worked in the health care field for over 44 years. She is certified by the National Commission for Certification for PA’s.
Dr. Ellen Feldman
Dr. Feldman has worked as a consultant at the University of North Dakota Student Health Services and University Counseling Center since 2010. Dr. Feldman is a psychiatrist at Altru and is the chair of the department of Behavioral Health at Altru Health System.
Stacie Olson, DNP, PMHNP-BC
Dr. Stacie Olson, Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, began her employment with University of North Dakota Student Health Services in 2014. She received her BSN at the University of North Dakota. She received her Masters of Science in adult psychiatric nurse practitioner specialty from the University of North Dakota in 2010, and her doctorate of nursing practice from Duquesne University in 2014. Stacie has worked in the health care field for over 23 years. She is certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing, American Nurses Association, North Dakota Nurse Practitioner Association, and National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties.
