Chairs' Leadership Institute
The Chairs’ Leadership Institute is a series of meetings that provide opportunities for Chairs to meet with each other and other administrators on campus to discuss ideas and strategies for working effectively on issues common to department leaders.
Each session is 90 minutes long. Up to one hour of the session will be focused on a skill or activity – examples include effective annual evaluation, using MIRA as one source of data for program planning, and managing conflict – in small group interactions.
Sessions will also include informational presentations on new or continuing campus initiatives relevant to Chairs and department planning.
