U Card

The U Card is your official UND identification and access credential card.

You'll use it across campus to access to many buildings, check out library materials, print documents, enter the Wellness Center, use dining services and attend athletic events.

If you're a current student, faculty or staff member, or approved affiliate, you're eligible to get a U Card. Your U Card stays valid for as long as you're enrolled or employed at UND — it does not expire.

Order or Replace Your U Card

You must request a new or replacement U Card (or Badge) using our online order form.

To access the online form, log in with your UND/NDUS username (typically firstname.lastname — do not enter your full email address as your username) and password.

Before you get started, be sure to review the U Card order and photo requirements. Direct questions to UND.ucard@UND.edu.

To receive a U Card, you must have an active UND status. Employees must have an EMPLID# on file.

New employees must complete at least one of the following before a U Card will be issued:

  • Submit employment paperwork, or
  • Complete Person of Interest (POI) process.
