Transfer Out
If you are an international student transferring from UND to another U.S. institution of higher education, you must initiate the process for having your SEVIS record (I-20) transferred to the other institution. Click on the link below to complete the form. Please note that you must upload a photocopy of your admission letter to the other university.
Please allow 2-3 business days for the International Center to process your transfer request. Only once that request is processed and the release date has passed will your new school be able to access your SEVIS record and issue you a new I-20 form.
If you are leaving the U.S. during a vacation period, you must make sure that you use your new I-20 when you re-enter the U.S. after your trip. Please contact your International Student Advisor at UND if you have questions about the transfer process.
