The University of North Dakota utilizes CourseLeaf as an online curriculum management system.
To make a curriculum change you will need to login to the online system using your NDUS Identifier. For assistance with your account, please contact the Office of the Registrar at 777.2711.

Program Management Form
The Program Management Form is used to:
- Propose a new program: New Program Exploration (previously Stage I) and New Program Request (previously Stage II)
- Propose an existing program for online format: Change to Academic Program Degree Type (previously Stage II Abbreviated)
- Edit/change a program
- Suspend or terminate a program
- 4-year Degree Plan
Course Management Form
The Course Management Form is used to:
- Propose a new course
- Edit/change a course
- Deactivate: Inactivate or Terminate a course
Miscellaneous Management Form
The Miscellaneous Management Form is used for:
- Department Name Change
- Degree Title Change
- Prefix Change
Approval Page
Approve an item in the workflow.
Assistance with completing forms is available from personnel in the Office of the Registrar, 777.2711, your college USCC representative or the Chair of the USCC.
A report will be on the web each month listing all approved changes. Please call the Office of the Registrar with any questions regarding curriculum requests.
Curriculum Approval Dates
Please review your department description and course information carefully and submit changes early to assure inclusion in the 2024-2025 Academic Catalog.
October 12 is the deadline to turn in requests to the University Curriculum Committee that require approval by State Board of Higher Education Academic & Student Affairs Committee. These requests include: new program requests (explorations must have been approved prior to the new program request submission), requests for programs to allow distance delivery, title changes (department, degree, prefix), and program inactivations or terminations.
December 31 is the deadline to turn in requests to the University Curriculum Committee for all other curriculum changes that require University Senate approval. Contact the Office of the Registrar with any questions.
