UND visits and campus tours start from the Office of Admissions, located in the Gorecki Alumni Center. This building also houses the UND Alumni Association & Foundation, and we consider it the start and the finish for your time at UND.

Construction Alert: Alternate Routes May Be Needed

Due to a major road construction project, the intersection of North 42nd Street and Demers Avenue will be closed. Because this is a main entryway to campus, visitors traveling to the Gorecki Alumni Center may need to use an alternate route.

• If you are traveling by Interstate 29, do not use Exit 140 during construction. Use Exit 141.
• GPS directions may not reflect current road closures or official detour routes.
• Please allow extra travel time and follow posted detour signs.

Parking

Please park in the Gorecki Visitor Parking lot located directly on the south side of the building. Parking permits have been emailed to you. Display your visitor permit in your vehicle and enter the building through the south door.

From the South on Interstate-29

1. From I-29, turn off at Exit 141 to U.S. Highway 2 (Gateway Drive).
   • Due to construction, do not use Exit 140.
2. Turn right (east) onto U.S. Highway 2 (Gateway Drive).
3. Turn right (south) onto North 42nd Street.
4. Turn left (west) onto University Avenue.
5. Turn right (south) onto Strinden Road.
6. Turn left (east) into the Gorecki Visitor Parking Lot directly on the south side of the building.
7. Clearly display your visitor permit in your vehicle and enter the south doors.

From the North on Interstate-29

1. From U.S. Hwy 2 (eastbound), turn right (south) onto North 42nd Street.
2. Turn left (east) onto University Avenue.
3. Turn right (south) onto Strinden Road.
4. Turn left (east) into the Gorecki Visitor Parking Lot directly on the south side of the building.
5. Clearly display your visitor permit in your vehicle and enter the south doors.

From the East on U.S. Highway 2 (Gateway Drive)

1. From U.S. Hwy 2 (westbound), turn left (south) onto North Columbia Road.
2. Turn right (west) onto University Avenue.
3. Turn left (south) onto Strinden Road.
4. Turn left (east) into the Gorecki Visitor Parking Lot directly on the south side of the building.
5. Clearly display your visitor permit in your vehicle and enter the south doors.
