What kind of help is available?
There are several options that can help bring down your costs, including:
- Scholarships (merit-based awards that don't have to be repaid)
- Grants (need-based awards that don't have to be repaid)
- Loans (that do have to be repaid)
How much am I expected to borrow?
Don't make the mistake of not filing a FAFSA because you don't think you'll qualify for aid. Everyone is eligible for certain types of loans. There is no explicit income cutoff for need-based aid, such as subsidized student loans.
Is college worth it?
You'll receive a top-rated education at UND, sure, but the return is so much more. Our graduates see increased salaries, greater job security and have more opportunities to advance in their careers.
How will I pay back student loans?
Student loan debt doesn't need to last forever and it becomes more manageable with successful employment.
