International Student & Scholar Services
International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) provides advising services to students and scholars on F, J, and M visas at the University of North Dakota.
While maintaining legal status is the responsibility of the student/scholar, ISSS provides orientation, advising and resources throughout an individual's time at UND. Additional services include providing information for faculty and staff working with international students and support for cultural programming for students and the community.
The International Center is here to serve you. To promote the health and safety of all faculty, staff, and students, we have staff working remotely. To encourage social distancing and maintain a COVID-resistant environment, we ask that you work with us virtually whenever possible. However, if an in-person appointment is absolutely needed, you may contact a member of our office to set up an appointment.
The UND International Center is offering "Zoom-In Hours". These are for international students/scholars needing quick 5 to 10 minute advisement sessions from our team of ISSS advisors. Current Zoom-In Hours are available Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
Use the link below to register/sign-in. Once registered, you will get a link to join the Zoom meeting for the time selected. You may join at any time during the hour.
If you join and are placed in the waiting room, please understand that we are currently advising another student. We will assist students as they Zoom-In.
Info Sessions & Forums
UND International Student & Scholar Services hosts a monthly forum on the 2nd Monday of each month at 4:00 PM. We welcome all international students and scholars to join us for updates about immigration rules and regulations, office changes and events, and occasional special guests. We also conclude each forum with a Live Q&A.
