Accessibility in YuJa
All students, faculty, and staff have access to a personal YuJa account, allowing them to host video content and record video lectures for curriculum use. YuJa automatically applies various accessibility features to videos upon upload, with options for further modifications to enhance accessibility. For more details on player accessibility refer to the YuJa support article Accessibility Features in the Media Player.

Requesting Auto Captioning
If your captions do not auto-generate, you can request auto-captioning through the Accessibility tab. This is particularly important after using the Bulk Merge feature, as it doesn't effectively combine captions from multiple videos. For merged video files, you will need to manually request auto-captioning.
Manually Uploading Captions
Human Captioning
YuJa integrates several human-based captioning services that you can choose from, primarily intended to support students with accommodation needs. Human Captioning incurs an additional fee, so it should be used judiciously. Due to these associated costs, UND restricts access to Human Captioning requests to specific faculty and staff members.
