CircleIn
The Student-Led Learning App
CircleIn is a student-led learning platform where you can collaborate with your peers, share study resources, and get academic support. It's designed to help you stay productive and connect with classmates from anywhere.
CircleIn is available to students in the College of Arts & Sciences, College of Education & Human Development (EHD), College of Engineering & Mines (CEM), and Nistler College of Business & Public Administration (NCoBPA) through at least August 2026.
How It Works
Think of CircleIn as a digital study community, a place where students gather to help each other succeed. By using the app, you can:
- Collaborate on projects and study for exams.
- Ask questions in a safe, judgment-free space.
- Work through challenging problems with your peers.
- Share class notes, flashcards, and other resources.
- Earn points for your "study actions" that can be redeemed for gift cards.
Student Success & Academic Support
UND's Tutoring Services is working to promote the use of CircleIn among undergraduate students, particularly those enrolled in online courses. By encouraging students to use CircleIn, we aim to help them access greater academic support and build stronger peer connections through a collaborative learning community.
Student Success Intern Initiative
The Student Success Intern initiative within Student Academic Success & Career Engagement intends to use the CircleIn platform to provide peer support. Our Student Success Interns will engage with students through a combination of proactive outreach and personalized responses to questions or concerns. We aim to help students feel supported, foster a sense of community and peer connection, and connect students promptly with the appropriate UND resources when issues arise.
Introducing the AI Tutor
Beginning in Fall 2025, any course in the colleges of EHD, NCoBPA, A&S, and CEM will have access to a new AI-Tutor. This feature provides 24/7/365 academic assistance. The Tutor guides students step-by-step, just like a human tutor would, helping you learn how to solve problems on your own.
