We communicate evidence-based nutrition and cooking principles in a fun and applicable way.
The Culinary Corner is a demonstration kitchen that provides free and fee-based cooking classes. Classes are led by student instructors, UND nutrition students, and guest chefs. The kitchen is located on the main level of the Wellness Center near the classrooms and quiet lounge in the south corner of the facility.
All cooking classes give you the chance to learn cooking skills, healthy meal choices and provide a new recipe to take home. Classes are open to students, Wellness Center members, faculty and staff of the University as well as University friends. Classes are led by a range of instructors from students to guest chefs and each have their own specialty. Whether you make sushi or homemade pizza, you will learn culinary skills and tips on healthy eating.
Recipes being made in class will be posted to the online registration portal about 2 weeks prior to class.
