Chopped Student Cooking Competition

The sign up form for our 2026 Student Chopped competition is open until March 13, 2026.

Six teams will compete on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 5-8 p.m. in Wilkerson 202 to be crowned the "Best Chefs at UND!"

Event will take place on March 26 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 pm. at Wilkerson Dining Center in Room 202.

Applications to participate must be submitted by March 13, 2026!

Competition Details

Open to all UND students, with or without a meal plan.
All 6 teams will compete head-to-head.
All teams will meet with staff from UND Dining to go over the recipe and technicalities of the event.
Cooking experience is preferred, but not required.
Recipes are provided.
Previous cooking experience is not required but preferred.
