Coca-Cola

UND has an exclusive beverage vending agreement with Coca-Cola pursuant to a competitive request for proposal process.

Under this agreement (contract UND-2025-1565), Coca-Cola has the exclusive right to sell, distribute, sample, dispense, and otherwise provide beverages from its portfolio on campus. As a result, University departments, employees, third-party vendors, and event organizers are expected to use Coca-Cola products for campus events, activities, and operations occurring on University-owned or University-controlled property unless specifically exempted.

The agreement covers all University facilities and grounds in Grand Forks that are under University control, including events and functions held on those properties. University departments and organizations should ensure beverage purchases and event planning activities comply with the terms of this agreement unless a specifically identified exception applies.

The following locations and operations are specifically excluded from the exclusivity agreement:

• Concessions and retail operations at the Ralph Engelstad Arena, Betty Engelstad Sioux Center, Albrecht Field, and Alerus Center
• Starbucks located in the Memorial Union
• Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center
• Gorecki Alumni Center
• UND Bookstore operated by a third-party retailer
