Student Summer Meal Plans
All students who will be on campus over the summer have the option to purchase a meal plan.
Students staying in the residence halls over the summer are required to purchase one of the meal plans listed below. Off-Campus, Greek, Swanson Hall, Apartment-Style Housing, or UND Apartment students have the option to select from all of the available meal plans.

Residence Hall Students
- Students will select their meal plan when signing the Room and Meal Plan Agreement in Housing Self Service.

- Purchase a summer meal plan at the check stand of Wilkerson Dining Center during open hours.
Summer 2024 Meal Plan Options
A variety of meal plan options are available for students to visit Wilkerson Dining Center over the summer. Come in for a meal, snack, or beverage any time the dining center is open. Please note that the dining center is only open during meal periods. Check Dining Hours for availability.

*Weekly meals can be purchased during Interim Session between the end of summer and fall semesters.
*Meal plan option does not include interim session meals between the end of the summer session, August 4, 2024, and the start of the fall semester beginning August 24, 2024. Students continuing to reside on-campus in the residence halls during this time would be required to pay the weekly meal plan rate.
*Please note that 1883 Grill, Dakota Deli, & University Ave Pizza will be closed for the summer and the $9.50 meal swipe equivalency will not be available.
Meal Plan Management
- Use the GET mobile app or website to add dining dollars, check your meal plan and dining dollar balances, and more!
- Parents and guardians can also load additional funds onto their student's accounts utilizing GET.
Anytime Access Meal Plan Extras
- Dining dollars and meal swipes can be used through the GrubHub Mobile App for on-campus dining locations.
- Bonus Meals can be used by you or a guest at Wilkerson Dining Center.
- Special food services are available for students with meal plans.

Terms and Conditions
You're allowed to change your dining contracts during a one-week period at the beginning of each semester. Forms are available in Wilkerson Dining Center during this period.
All Meal Plans
The University of North Dakota offers to furnish meals in consideration of payment of the fee in effect during the contract period.
- A meal plan is required of all students living in the residence halls except for Graduate, Transfer, and Returning Students residing in Swanson Hall. Meal plan contracts are non-transferable.
- The 2024 Summer Contract period starts with brunch on Sunday, May 12, 2024 and ends with dinner on Friday, August 23, 2024. Schedules of operation will be posted prior to dining centers closing for holiday weekends and break periods as defined herein.
- The above-stated amount shall be billed to the contract holder’s University account to the selected term per semester or pro-rated from the date of signature. This contract shall be canceled if the contract holder has not registered or has withdrawn from the University prior to the start of the contract period.
- Identification: All students with a meal plan must scan the most up-to-date GET App that includes photo identification on their mobile device or present a machine-readable U Card with an identifiable picture for dining center access.
- Anytime Access meal plans are a full semester plan serving the specified number of meals per week and are not restricted by meal zones.
- Meals can be consumed within the dining center or by take out during scheduled serving hours. Sack meals, sick trays, take out and extended dinner carryout are limited to one meal swipe per breakfast, lunch, and dinner time periods.
- Dining Dollars can be redeemed at any Dining Services location that will be open over summer: Wilkerson Express Convenience Stores and Stomping Grounds, the Memorial Union Locations: Starbucks, Panda Express, and Chick-fil-a. A ten percent (10%) discount is applied to the purchase of meals with Dining Dollars at the Wilkerson Dining Center only.
- Guest Meals can be redeemed at Wilkerson Dining Center.
- The unused balances of dining dollars and bonus meals on the last day of the semester are forfeited.
- Redemption of meals requires a current machine-readable University of North Dakota identification card and/or a fingerprint scan. Replacement cards are available at the U Card office and fingerprints can be registered by emailing dining@und.edu to set up a time.
- Board contract change dates can be found on the dining website. Posted notices in the dining centers will serve as official notice regarding where and when to apply.
- Requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing to the Director of Dining Services, located at 3625 Campus Road during the board contract change period (see item #11 for where dates can be found). Credits for the unused portion are prorated from the effective cancellation date and applied to the contract holder’s University account.
