If you are seeking a career in geographic information systems (GIS) or other related fields, the Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Science (GISc) is designed for you. The program will provide you with the skills and tools you need to model landscapes digitally and to enable the mathematical characterization of spatial and temporal processes.

The part-time, online GISc program is designed for non-degree seeking professionals who are unable to complete a full-time, on-campus program. You are not required to come to campus at any time.
Admission Requirements: Geographic Information Science Graduate Certificate
To be admitted to the GISc Graduate Certificate Program, you must have:
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
An undergraduate GPA of 2.75 overall or a GPA of 3.00 in the last 2 years of your undergraduate program.
If you do not meet the GPA admission standards, you may be admitted on a provisional basis with continued enrollment contingent on successful performance in the program.
